Using passion and precision to weave code into captivating web experiences

about

In 2019, faced with the prospect of my customer service job being outsourced, I made a bold decision: I wouldn't settle for anything less than becoming a software engineer. Over the next year, I dedicated myself to mastering the craft, culminating in an opportunity to contribute to Carvana's search page—an experience that shaped me both technically and professionally.

Although my time at Carvana was cut short by a round of layoffs, it provided invaluable lessons and propelled me forward. Since then, I opportunity to revamp Collision and Forensics Engineering Inc's website, enhancing the user experience and leaving a lasting impact.

Now, I'm on the lookout for my next challenge—a company where I can continue my journey as a software engineer and thrive both personally and professionally. With a relentless curiosity and a passion for solving complex problems, I'm ready to make a meaningful contribution wherever I go.

Outside of coding, you'll find me spending time with my wife and dog, pushing my limits at the gym, finding peace through meditation, and playing video games.

Optimized API requests by paginating annotations and utilized Svelte to segment comments, decreasing the initial load time of portlet. Leveraging technologies like Angular1, Svelte, Redux, and Redux-Saga, I contributed to the development of new features and addressed CSS bugs to enhance data comprehension for healthcare professionals.

I developed a web application inspired by Spotify's intuitive design and functionality. By implementing the OAuth2 flow, Spotify Premium users can seamlessly access the app. Additionally, I included features that allow users to easily view their top artists, songs, and genres over different time periods, from the past month to all-time favorites. It's a simple yet effective tool for music lovers to explore their listening habits in a familiar environment.
